Help Name The Otters

This summer the Park welcomed four Asian short-clawed otter pups. After their important health checks and microchipping, they’re ready for naming!

Since these otters are native to Vietnam, keepers have chosen a selection of beautiful Vietnamese names. The team now needs your help to choose which names they’ll keep.

Choose four names on the form below, and you’ll be entered into a prize draw where one winner will be selected at random to win a family ticket.

 

What’s up for grabs?

One lucky winner will receive a family day ticket (2 adults and 2 children) to the Park, plus a private otter talk with an expert keeper, including feeding time and enrichment activities so you can see them in action!

This will be your chance to get to know the otter family that resides here at the Park, plus learn all the fascinating facts about their species and how the Park works to support their conservation.

HOW TO ENTER

Simply choose your four favourite names below and submit your details for a chance to win.

The vote closes midday on the 26th of September 2025 and the winner will be announced Monday 6th October 2025.

Terms & Conditions

  • The closing date for this competition is midday on the 26th September 2025 and submissions will not be accepted after this date.
  • If you are under the age of 16 years of age, please have an adult supervise your entry.
  • The most popular answers will be the names given to the otter pups
  • One entry will be chosen at random from all entries. Duplicate entries will not be counted.
  • The winner will be contacted directly by email on Monday 29th September and will receive a family ticket for up to four people (2 adults and 2 children) for Woburn Safari Park and a private otter talk.
  • The winning names will be announced on social media. 
  • The prize is non-transferable (except as a charitable donation, and this can only be done on written request) and there is no cash alternative.
  • Transport costs, spending money and other expenses are not included.
  • Standard terms and conditions for entry will apply to the winner and their guests.
  • Transport is not provided to and from the park. The Road Safari and Foot Safari at Woburn Safari Park are only accessible in your own vehicle.
  • In the event that the promoter does not receive any communication from the winner within 10 working days of the initial notification, the promoter reserves the right to cancel prize entitlement and award that prize to an alternative randomly selected entrant, in which case the promoter is under no obligation to the previous winner.
  • Woburn Enterprises as the promoter, to the fullest extent allowed by law, accepts no responsibility for loss or injury as a result of promotional participation or the acceptance of the prize.
  • The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, amend, terminate or temporarily suspend this promotion in the event of any unforeseen circumstances or technical reason outside its reasonable control, with no liability to any entrants or third parties.
  • Any question concerning the legal interpretation of the rules will be based on English law and the Courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction.
