Session Outline

This session includes dissecting pellets from our birds of prey living here at Woburn Safari Park, to identify what they have been eating. Students will learn about the importance of dissecting pellets in conservation and about birds of prey feeding behaviours.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

  • Pupils will have a greater understanding of the responsibility involved in keeping healthy animals at a collection such as Woburn Safari Park.

  • They will understand the importance of knowing the animal you are working with.
