Due to the unprecedented situation of COVID-19, Woburn Safari Park is now TEMPORARILY CLOSED. We have made this decision based on the current advice from the Government and with the best interests of our staff and the public.
This means that we are currently unable to take any educational bookings. If you would like to find out any more about booking a school trip in the future, please email the team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
You’ll be working in the Safari Drive through or Animal Encounters and there’s a whole range of things you’ll be doing, including:
- Animal husbandry
- Preparing feeds
- Enriching the animals’ environment
- Interacting with customers
These placements are unpaid and we can’t offer to refund any expenses you incur like travel costs. These placements are only available to students who are at least 18 years of age, on a relevant academic course and able to undertake a placement of at least four weeks in length. Under 18s wanting to gain practical experience may wish to consider our Safari Academy programme. We can only take on a limited number of students at any time so please book early as places are filled quickly.
If you’re an undergraduate or post-graduate university student and want to undertake a research project here at Woburn, please get in touch using the contact form below.
