We caught up with Head of Education and Customer Liaison, Natasha Kyle to celebrate our recent accessibility advancements across Woburn Safari Park.
Tash and the rest of the Education team have been hard at work implementing many accessibility advancements across the site.
These include a brand new Changing Places facility, British sign language boards, communication boards, social scripts and the highly popular SEN-Friendly workshops for children with additional needs.
All of this hard work does not go unnoticed, as Natasha has recently been appointed as a BIAZA (British Association and Irish of Zoos and Aquariums) Diversity, Equity, Accessibility and Inclusion Working Group Member. This role will involve her working with other BIAZA collections to improve their accessibility and inclusion.
Well done Tash and team, we can’t wait to see what next steps will make the Park even more accessible in the future!
