Woburn Safari Park's hugely popular Elephant Encounter has been updated for 2024. This new one hour version of the experience is available to book now - for selected dates from May to September.
You'll be transported behind the scenes into private parkland of the Woburn estate, where you'll get up close to Asian elephants Chandrika, Damini and adorable juvenile Tarli.
Woburn's elephant experiences take place in the only animal collection in the UK where you can visit elephants on foot, with minimal barriers between you, as they graze peacefully in their own private grassland reserve!
Your knowledgable tour guide will take you by Land Rover to meet the elephants; you'll have a fascinating chat with the dedicated elephant keepers, meet some of the elephant herd as you learn all about them, before you take a tour of the elephant house.
And don't forget your camera - you'll have the opportunity to take incredible photos and videos with three of the female Asian elephants, as a lasting memento of your fantastic VIP package.
Your elephant experience includes:
- A one hour experience with three of the females of the Asian elephant herd, with a fascinating talk from the dedicated keeper team, allowing time for photos and a Q&A session
- A tour going behind the scenes in the elephant house
- Admission to Woburn Safari Park during park opening times on the date of your experience

Experiences are non-transferable.
Availability and Restrictions
- Each experience runs from 4pm for one hour between May and September 2024
- There are 10 places available on each booking date, this is a non-exclusive booking and you are likely to share your experience with other guests, unless you book all 10 places

- This tour is only available for ages 12 years and over, on the date of the experience
- Unfortunately the VIP Bigfoot vehicle and VIP Land Rovers are not wheelchair accessible
