'Wildlife at Woburn' - supporting native species

As well as raising money for international conservation projects, the Woburn keeper team have also been busy supporting native species conservation efforts as part of the BIAZA backed ‘Spotted on site’ campaign.

At the Safari Park we host a vast array of native species living wild on site, like red kites, brown hares and many species of insects. As part of ‘Spotted on site’ we’re working with iNaturalistUK and the National Biodiversity Network Trust (NBN Trust) to collaborate with zoos, aquariums and parks around the country to identify those species and share valuable data that feeds into research projects across the UK, Europe and the world.

You can also help the ‘Wildlife at Woburn’ project when you visit the Park!

Help us to monitor and record our incredibly important native species who share their home with the more exotic animals that live at Woburn.

Just download the free iNaturalist app and add your pictures and observations of native species in the wild to the project page:
