Name the Squirrel Monkey Baby!

 

This November, the Park celebrated the tiny but extraordinary arrival of a new squirrel monkey baby, born to first-time mum Willow and proud dad Murphy. Now, keepers need YOUR help to choose the perfect name!

To reflect mum’s name, Willow, keepers are looking for a name with a connection to trees, plants or nature. We're invite you to share your most imaginative ideas!

The Prize

Keepers will carefully choose their favourite name, and the winning entry will receive a family ticket to Woburn Safari Park, valid for one day admission for two adults and two children, to use within a year of receipt.

One lucky winner can spend the day exploring the expansive Road Safari to spot majestic residents such as lions, tigers, bears and rhinos, before heading into the Foot Safari to get closer to some of the Park’s smallest and most charismatic animals, including the squirrel monkey troop. It’s here that you’ll be able to glimpse the newest arrival, proudly bearing the name you chose!

How to enter

Fill in the form below with your contact details and your monkey baby name idea, then click submit. Make sure to stay on theme with mum's name, Willow and choose something inspired by trees, plants or flowers. Enter now, and you could be the lucky winner! 

Competition closes on the 31st December 2025 at midday, and the winner will be contacted via email on the 7th January 2026.

If there are multiple entries of the same winning name choice, one entry will be selected at random.  Good luck!

Terms & Conditions

  • The closing date for this competition is midday on the 31st December 2025, and submissions will not be accepted after this time and date.
  • If you are under the age of 18, please have an adult supervise your entry
  • Keepers will select a winner from all entries. 
  • If multiple entries bear the same names (chosen by keepers as the winning entry), one entry will be selected at random from those entries
  • The winner will be contacted directly by email on 7th January 2026.
  • The prize is non-transferable (except as a charitable donation, and this can only be done on written request), and there is no cash alternative.
  • Transport costs, spending money and other expenses are not included
  • Transport is not provided to and from the park. 
  • Before your visit we urge you to read the full T&Cs and view our opening hours
  • Standard terms and conditions for entry will apply to the winner and their guests
  • In the event that the promoter does not receive any communication from the winner within 10 working days of the initial notification, the promoter reserves the right to cancel prize entitlement and award that prize to an alternative randomly selected entrant (using random selection from all entries).
  • Woburn Enterprises, as the promoter, to the fullest extent allowed by law, to accepts no responsibility for loss or injury as a result of promotional participation or the acceptance of the prize
  • The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, amend, terminate or temporarily suspend this promotion in the event of any unforeseen circumstances or technical reason outside its reasonable control, with no liability to any entrants or third parties
  • Any question concerning the legal interpretation of the rules will be based on English law, and the Courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction.
