Children on the 'Day on the Wild Side' holiday workshop and the Woburn keeper team made some cracking Easter enrichment for the animals this week - and it's fair to say the animals were eggceedingly happy with the results!

The Barbary macaques loved their eggs! Here is Berlinga 'singing the song of his people', saying a big thank you for his beautifully decorated Easter egg!
Berlinga is the largest dominant male in the troop and he's certainly showing off the size of his jaw in this photo! As the monkeys can't eat chocolate, they had some keeper-approved tasty veggies in their eggs.
Vera the Amur tiger acting like the big cat that she is, and loving her scented enrichment balls! The balls were constructed out of paper, flour and water, and made by local children who attended the Woburn Easter holiday workshops. Keepers scented the balls with different animal smells.
Father and daughter duo Kovu and Meeko, the Asian short-clawed otters, enjoyed a feast of cooked quails eggs collected from a local supplier
Koda and Georgia, two of the youngsters of the 11-strong North American black bear sleuth, enjoying delicious honeydew melon “eggs” coated in delicious honey and seeds. Here, Georgia embraces her melon like an egg baby!
