The heatwave was wonderful for the African species at the park, with the lions lazing around, enjoying a good long cat nap.
The rhino and giraffe herds are basking in the sun, as the grassland reserves resemble the African savannah plains over the July and August period.
However, some of our furry or feathered residents aren't so well adapted to the high temperatures and keepers have been working hard to provide water, shade and lots of cooling enrichment for their precious species.
Watch below as the monkeys enjoy their ice lollies...
We spotted the alpaca herd keeping cool and splashing around after keepers set up their very own paddling pool and sprinkler! Can you spot baby Wilf? He's not so little anymore...
The elephants just nip off to their private woodland playground for a swim in Drakeloe lake, wild swimming anyone?
The lions have been licking away at some cooling ice blocks over in the Kingdom of Carnivores...
Join the wonderful wildlife for some fun in the sun this summer on safari!
