The Bedford Estates, LondonIt's with a heavy heart that we have to announce the passing of African lioness, Tyra.
Tyra was born at the Park to lions Shane and Tamby in 2004. She was one of the oldest lions in the pride but sadly at the grand old age of 17, the signs of her age were beginning to show.
As a result, the difficult decision to have her put to sleep was made by her dedicated team of keepers and vets.
She was a beautiful cat with a big personality, and she will be very much missed by all of her keepers.
