What's coming up in 2025?

The new year has arrived, and Woburn Safari Park is buzzing with exciting plans, updates, and experiences to welcome visitors back for an unforgettable 2025.

Big Changes in the Foot Safari 

The Foot Safari is undergoing exciting updates! The brand-new Reptile Ranch opens on the 16th January!  This brand new enclosure offers visitors an immersive experience with fascinating reptiles, invertebrates, molluscs and insects in an array of specially designed vivarium habitats. Guests can enjoy two daily keeper talks and learn all about the residents, including captivating critters, marvellous molluscs and riveting reptiles.   

Little Rangers go Roving

For little adventurers, the iconic orange ranger cars are getting a miniature makeover! Soon, kids can zoom around a new mini-track in their very own mini ranger vehicles.  Planned to open this Easter, look out for the new track next to Bison Halt train station. 

A New View of the Giraffes 

The giraffe herd will be enjoying a fresh new space to explore and greet visitors. The former “Ele Meadow” will now serve as a leisure-side paddock for the giraffes, offering a new perspective on these majestic animals while the elephants enjoy their dedicated safari paddocks.

The Elephants Are Back in Town! 

After some winter maintenance work on the Road Safari paddocks; Tarli, Chandrika, and Damini, three of the female Asian elephants, will be heading back to their favourite grazing space.

Visitors will once again be able to see the girls as they roam their spacious paddock, and enjoy grazing, bathing and exploring their new day shelter, complete with special winches for their feed.

What Else to Look Forward To? 

There’s more - after lengthy planning, the education team has something thrilling in store. With construction starting at the end of January 2025, exciting developments will be underway and announced in the summer season!
