Meet hit preschool characters Skye and Peppa Pig!
Kids are in for a treat at this May half term, as we welcome back both Skye from PAW Patrol and Peppa Pig to visit the Park!
Head to the decking of the Mammoth Play Ark where your favourite will be appearing at intervals throughout the day for a special meet and greet session: Skye on the 26th May and with Peppa on Bank Holiday Monday 27th May.
Offering the perfect photo opportunity, purchasing a special event ticket is no extra cost to your standard admission but guarantees you a place in a priority queue to meet your favourite character.
It's a springtime baby boom
Woburn's first baby alpaca has been born at Alpaca Outpost. Helped into the world by keeper Tom Robson, who has also just recently become a first-time father himself.
As well as the alpaca cria, there are plenty of new animals to meet as you explore the Park.
New male red panda makes his debut in Himalayan Heights, there are bouncy baby eland calves and a new flock of ostriches in the Road Safari, plus you'll come face to face with adorable twin goat kids in Farmyard Friends.
Something for your own monkeys
Bringing along your own monkeys? Besides seeing the animals, there are plenty of fun activities included in your ticket price in the Leisure Area.
Hop onto the Great Woburn Railway and stop off at the latest animal attraction, Alpaca Outpost, to spot the new cria baby as you meet and feed the friendly herd of Alpacas with keepers.
Afterwards, burn off some steam in the new Jungle Jamboree adventure playground, equipped with an array of obstacles, musical instruments and animal themed climbing activities.
Once you’re ready to relax, enjoy a leisurely paddle on Swan Lake in the new Dragon Boats, which have joined the Swan Boats for the first time!
Lemur charity weekend
The Animal Encounters team invite you to join them for lots of fun and games, to help raise money for the Association for the Study and Conservation of Lemurs on the bank holiday weekend.
Join keepers from the 25th to 27th May to help them raise much needed funds for the Association for the Study and Conservation of Lemurs (AEECL).
Lemur species are threatened in their natural habitats, out in Madagascar, and this charity works hard to help protect this species from possible extinction in the future.
Bank Holiday BBQ's
The team at The Safari Lodge are creating a fantastic BBQ feast for all, on the 26th and 27th May.
Visitors can head to the decking of The Safari Lodge, overlooking the Desert Springs and Otter Falls walk-through enclosures, for a mouthwatering selection of BBQ food.
Tickets can be purchased on the day from The Safari Lodge, spaces are limited, so it's first come, first served.
