Alpaca Competition Winners!

Furry new friends

The furry herd of new arrivals is settling in well at Woburn Safari Park, ahead of meeting visitors at February half term. And two of the herd have been given names in a special competition!

Congratulations go to Jessica Greasby, who named the white male alpaca, pictured below - Chewpacca!

And congratulations also go to Shane Wootton, who named the female alpaca with the dark face markings, pictured below - Alpacamybags!

Alpaca Female No1 JPI Naming Competition Woburn Safari Park

The two lucky winners will each enjoy a VIP Experience for up to four people to meet the herd and enjoy lunch at the Safari Restaurant.

These names were selected by the keepers who look after the herd and they loved all of your name suggestions. A big thank you to everyone who entered our competition!

Chewpacca and Alpacamybags will be delighted to meet you at Alpaca Outpost...especially if you're offering some munchies 🥕🥕🥕

(Please note. If we receive multiples of a winning name, the winner is picked at random from all the entries received)
