Today at the Park
The meerkats at Desert Springs will not be on show today. There will also only be one Yellow mongoose out. This is due to the Park recently receiving a breeding recommendation for the mongoose, meaning a male will shortly be arriving to join female, Miss Tibbs. The porcupines can still be seen in their enclosure within Desert Springs.
A few walk-through areas of the Foot Safari remain closed due to the social distancing regulations; The Dissscovery Zone (reptile house) and Monkey Business are closed. Land of Lemurs is closed, but you can still see the lemurs from outside the enclosure. Click here to see what is open in the Foot Safari.
Toilets are only available once you have entered the park, via the Road Safari.
What to see and do
Plan your safari adventure today with a Safari Park map and download a timetable of keeper talks and demonstrations with many of the animals, including red pandas, birds of prey, meerkats and penguins.
The Mammoth Play Ark is now open. Places are limited to maintain social distancing and meet government guidelines, so booking is essential and you'll have 20 minutes of playtime. A nominal ticket fee of £2 per child is payable to ensure visitors commit to their booking. Read all about the COVID secure precautions in place and the terms of entry in place here.
