Essential work to take place on the Great Woburn Railway
Over the coming weeks essential maintenance work will be taking place on the Great Woburn Railway.
While work takes place a revised schedule will be in place from now until the 29th March.
As we aim to keep the disruption to visitors to a minimum, it will still be possible for visitors to head over to the latest animal attraction to see the ten-strong herd in their new home, Alpaca Outpost.
Monday to Friday:
On weekdays from now until the 29th March, you will need to head to Bison Halt and hop into (or await the arrival) of the Land Rovers that will take you over to the Alpaca Outpost.
The Land Rovers will depart hourly at half past the hour, at: 11.30am, 12.30pm, 1.30pm, 2.30pm and 3.30pm.
Saturday and Sunday:
On the 16th, 17th, 23rd and 24th March the train will be operational at 1pm, 2pm and 3pm and will depart from Elephant Junction.
Departing hourly at 11.30am, 12.30pm, 1.30pm, 2.30pm and 3.30pm on weekend dates, two Land Rovers will be used to transport visitors from Elephant Junction to Alpaca Outpost in place of the train.
Because numbers are limited, free tickets will need to be collected from Junglies Gift Shop, on a first come first served basis, at the weekends and presented upon arrival at Elephant Junction.
