A sad goodbye to Parker
It is with great sadness that the keeper team announce the death of much-loved male Canadian Timber Wolf, Parker, at Woburn Safari Park.
In the wild Canadian Timber Wolves typically live for between six and eight years, but Parker passed away this week at the grand old age of 15.
Craig Lancaster, Team Leader, Carnivores, said: “Sadly our elderly wolf Parker passed away on Wednesday (28th August 2019) this week, at the good age of 15 years. Parker was very old and died of age related issues.
Parker and his howl will be sorely missed by all at Woburn Safari Park. Rest in Peace."
