Experience what life is like as a keeper and get behind the scenes with a variety of birds and animals. The day’s duties include feeding, mucking out, handling and observation of the animals. You will have the opportunity to feed nectar to the colourful rainbow lorikeets, get your hands dirty in the rhino house and help prepare some of the animals’ evening feeds in the new antelope house.

You’ll also take a trip off road on patrol to enjoy the excitement of the Safari Reserves with a ranger. Then end your day with a real highlight, meeting the friendly and playful lemurs in our walkthrough area Land of the Lemurs.

Please note:

• Suitable for 18 years and over only
• Under 18's must be accompanied by an adult.
• Participants must be fit and up to the tasks!
• There may be up to 3 people included on each date
• The day lasts from 9am until 3pm
• We can tailor the day (where possible) to specific interests.
• Suitable outdoor clothing should be worn and wellys or walking boots are highly recommended!
