Are you aged 13-17 and interested in animal care? Join us! 

Come along to Woburn Safari Park for a specialist week aimed at students aged 13-17 years looking into a career with animals.

This one day course lasts from 9am - 3pm per day (lunch not included).

£62.50 per child (available to 13-17 year olds only)

gAIN PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE alongisde our rangers

Woburn Safari Park is running a one day course for students aged 13 - 17 years old designed to assist students thinking of entering a career with animals such as keepers, zoologists or behaviourists.

The week will be made up of practical experience as well as seminars giving background information. Please be aware that this week is not designed as a 'fun' workshop, all the activities will reflect true working practices of the Park therefore hands on contact will be limited.

Activities include:

  • Daily husbandry tasks such as mucking out, food preparation, and animal handling
  • Sessions learning about different types of animals and their specific care
  • Off road and behind the scenes tours of the Park's facilities*
  • Career advice and guidance
  • The ability to build a portfolio of experience

*Please note: Activities may vary on the day due to weather conditions and other factors.
