What's new at the Park this Autumn?
This autumn you can meet some of the newest safari stars, visit brand new walkthrough enclosures and get closer than ever to the wonderful wildlife!
New faces in the Foot Safari
The Park welcomed red panda for the first time when adorable female pair Mali and Mambo moved in over the summer.
The youngsters can be seen in their new home, Himalayan Heights, down in Animal Encounters. Visitors can enjoy viewing them in their specially designed house featuring viewing windows and an outdoor walkway to take the pandas right over visitor's heads!

Sea lion pup
Sea lion Kira gave birth to healthy male pup earlier in the summer and the youngster can now be seen hanging out with the other sea lions down in Sea Lion Beach.
The pup, named Gus by keepers, has settled in well and is feeding regularly, meaning he is growing very quickly indeed!

Meet the tallest babies at the Park!
This year saw a bit of a 'baby boom' within the Rothschild's giraffe herd recently, with three calves born in quick succession - two being within 37 hours of each other!
Arrow was the first to be born earlier this year, with his two fellow herd members being born to females Freya and Lindsay. The trio can be seen browsing out on Giraffe Junction reserve outside the African Forest, or out on the yard in front of their brand new house.

Welcoming new species
Woburn Safari Park recently welcomed three Somali black headed sheep to the Park, with two giving birth to adorable lambs.
The two adult females and the male joined ponies, goats and donkeys down in new walk-through enclosure Farmyard Friends, in the Animal Encounters area of the Foot Safari. This species has been named in a very creative way, don't forget to ask keepers for more details, when you visit!
