In the wild, animals learn the skills needed for adulthood through play. They develop physically as well as socially, learning their place in the society in which they live.
And at Woburn Safari Park, play is a serious business for kids too, with five exciting and safe play environments. All our play facilities have been designed to encourage creativity, observation, teamwork and curiosity about the world in which we live.
In this age of computers, televisions and video games, we believe it is good for children to get back to “old-fashioned” games. It’s also a great way for hard-working parents to unwind and join in with their children!

* Action-packed undercover play activities in the region’s biggest indoor play area, including scramble nets, rope bridges, ball pools….and don’t miss our near vertical drop slide!* It’s a great place to play and make new friends. There’s even a café for tired parents to relax and take refreshment.
*Slide is at 15°. Height restrictions apply: the height restriction for the Red slide (drop slide) is 1.2m and the height restriction for the Blue slide (ball pool) is 1m.
Children must be wearing long sleeves, trousers and socks to be able to use the blue or red slides.

If you are too small for Tree Tops then this is the place for you! Can you
climb like a monkey and slide like a snake? Here toddlers (under fives) can
develop their imagination and explore our bouncy and colourful inflatable
trail. Parents can supervise while resting at adjacent picnic tables.

Designed for the under fives, a playground with, you guessed it, a badger theme.

Take the safari train through one of the paddocks and get a little closer to the animals! Get on at Bison Halt or Elephant Junction and ride in style to the other end of the Leisure Area. No extra charge for this fun ride!
