Make a roarsome new friend on Sunday 4th June when Rex, the mighty 17ft Tyrannosaurus Rex comes to visit the animals at Woburn Safari Park. Meet the baby dinosaurs and children can have their photo taken inside a dinosaur egg!
Ever wondered what it would be like to meet a Tyrannosaurus Rex?
Now's your chance, as roarsome beast 'Rex' is coming to Woburn Safari Park with his keeper on Sunday 4th June, to meet visitors at intervals throughout the day!
Rex is the most realistic animatronic dinosaur in the UK today and attracts lots of attention when he goes out with his keepers.
Have a look at the video, to see Rex here on his previous adventures...
Who is Rex?
With his animatronic face and body movements, eyes that stare and blink, a tail that swings "viciously" from side to side, and a life-like "ROAR", you'll be forgiven for screaming out loud when you meet him!
Meet the super-cute baby dinosaurs!
Joining Rex are his little cousins, the adorable baby Triceratops and baby Brontosaurus, who love a tickle under the chin or having their photo taken.
These marvels of the Dinosaur world hatched recently and we are pleased to say we also have one of their eggs that's still intact. Children can climb inside the dinosaur egg (very gently please.... we don't want to crack the egg further!) to have their picture taken.
How can I meet Rex?
Rex, the magnificent Tyrannosaurus Rex will be coming to meet and greet visitors throughout the day, appearing at set times from 11.30am, outside the Mammoth Play Ark.
Book your special event ticket, which costs no more than the standard gate admission price.
